Community Photo Essay

By Brandy Bracamontes

Everyone had a different opinion when coming back to campus for the first time after campus closed because of the pandemic. For many of us it wasn’t easy, and some of us were even excited. In this collection of photos we can see that. I was able to capture the campus coming back to life. Some of the activities that were taking place for example, “Día de los Muertos.” Some of the students participated in the ASI event that included art and crafts. Other students are taking precautions by taking COVID-19 tests. Some students are lounging around waiting for their next step, whether it is for class or their next task. I was able to get a snapshot of a farmers market near campus. This is what I wanted to show, the new normal.
